I was travelling from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv and I met this guy named Hoshaya in flight, who helped me with a great deal of food for thought from the Jewish culture. It was the last week of September.
and he told about the approaching Yom Kippur, which was the Jewish Day of Atonement. He went on to say that the trespasses a person committed through the year were spiritually worked out through prayer and fasting for about 25 hours before Yom Kippur and then your life for the next year was predetermined. This was really interesting but I felt the need that it would have been better to have a more permanent solution to the atonement thing because I am a guy who loves a good job which is done once and for all. I expressed this concern to Hoshaya and he just smiled and later offered me some of his bamba and krembo snacks when we got off the flight and departed.
It was somewhere around the end of September when I was in Tel Aviv that I heard of this iconic Jewish place of worship called the Cymbalista Synagogue. I went there on Yom Kippur and believe me, this place is a must visit on your travel to Israel, they say that the building material was imported from Asia and from other places, the color looks like that of the dusky sky with two towers like binoculars rising from the building, which is a square base known as the halls of convergence.
A girl named Esther then invited me to come in. The place consisted of two halls, the prayer hall and the study hall. These halls turned east and west thus creating bipolarity. We all sat in layouts facing each other and the atmosphere within was comforting as well intense. Esther pointed out a big box to me, which looked like it had a gold lid with carved out winged creatures on it. She told me that was the Holy Ark and it was surrounded by an alabaster ring which brought light into the hall.
All in all this was one of a kind experience which showed me that these people would endlessly wrestle with their human tendencies in order to glorify their God. I left that place with fond memories so permanent as though they were tattooed in my mind.

My next most spiritual destination was the Kumbhmela held in Haridwar. While reading books, I had also read about the

On my journey towards spiritual India, I also experienced one of the weird temples of India.

After visiting the religious places of India, I thought of visiting the meditation center of Maharashtra where I would be relaxed and get peace of mind.
