One of the key highlights of my tour to Paris was my fast as well as furious 6 hours at the beautiful Musee de Louvre aka the Louvre Museum. With 5 floors and 17 wings, and 652,300 square feet of exhibition space,
the Grand Louvre is one of the most famous museums in the world.Per year millions of visitors flock to this number one ranked museum. The museum contains over 380,000 objects and displays 35,000 works of art. It is said that if one walks through the Louvre museum and spends only four seconds staring at each object, it would take you almost three months to get through the whole museum!
I was super excited to visit the Louvre museum as I was going to get to see the Mona Lisa, a very historic painting. It was an awesome journey inside this wonderful building which provided me a lifetime experience to see the diverse talents of creativity, style and ingenuity that showcase the different facets of culture, religion, spirituality and lifestyle.
Six hours inside the museum… it could be my longest journeying in a public building… but it was a rewarding experience! The thing that fascinated me most about the Louvre museum was the grand glass pyramid built over the entrance. It is said that the number of visitors to the museum has increased since this glass pyramid was made.
It is impossible to see everything in one visit, so I had to decide what I wanted to visit the most. I took hundreds of images during my visit to Louvre museum. Most of the people who visit the beautiful Musee de Louvre are in search of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa… As was I…!
Mona Lisa seems to welcome you silently with her fixed gaze on the bystander. Her brightly lit face is gently framed by darker elements with the sfumato painting technique that evokes a haunting and mysterious effect.
I enjoyed there each and every art. For some time, I also enjoyed watching the people… In fact, for me, ‘people watching’ became almost as interesting as viewing the art!!
It was indeed a superb experience to explore thousands of artworks which gave me a glimpse of the past French culture. One truly could spend months roving around in the Louvre!

My next most spiritual destination was the Kumbhmela held in Haridwar. While reading books, I had also read about the

On my journey towards spiritual India, I also experienced one of the weird temples of India.

After visiting the religious places of India, I thought of visiting the meditation center of Maharashtra where I would be relaxed and get peace of mind.
