Lake Jennings – Catching bass.

As fishing is my hobby, I always keep collecting information about lakes which are good for fishing. This time, one of my friends told me about Lake Jennings. Hearing about the boat and camping facilities, fishes available in the lake, I was so excited to visit the lake and do fishing. I collected the information about how to get to the lake and packed my bag with baits and all the necessary equipments; and soon I was on my way to Lake Jennings.Lake Jennings is very famous for producing catfish and is one of the lakes of San Diego that contains larger Blue Catfish. Each year numerous catfishes over 15 lbs. are reported, mainly during the season of summer night fishing. Channel Catfish are stocked in thousands of pounds during the summer from June to August and also holds monster bass. It is an ideal place for trout fishing during the winter season when it is continually stocked with loads of rainbow trout. Shore fishing is exceptionally good at Jennings with a number of coves, docks, points, and drop-offs to try. The ground for camping is located in a quiet and shady area above Lake Jennings giving visitors a prominent view of the water. There are 28 campsites, 6 isolated sites only for tents and 20 for tents and small campers only. Hot showers, restrooms, laundry tubs, fish-cleaning facility, a playground, and pump station are near to the campsite. Row boats and motor boats are available for fishing.

I settled my belongings in the tent and walked out with my bait for fishing. I hired a row boat and starting fishing. I love bass and was trying a lot to catch them. Unfortunately, I found it hard to catch them and was worried whether I will get at least one fish or not. But at last, I got many fishes stuck to my bait and was very happy and excited. I got many largemouth bass and catfishes in my container. I clicked many photographs with those fishes in my hand and kept them safe. I enjoyed whole day fishing at the lake and came back to my tent at the evening.

I came back home but, even today I remember the fishing in Lake Jennings and keep staring the photos of mine clicked with the fishes in hand.
